General Sans is a free rationalist sans serif typeface that was designed by Frode Helland for the Indian Type Foundry. This font is clearly inspired by the France of the 1950s. It is an extremely versatile font that can be used for both big headlines and long paragraphs of text. The entire font family consists of 12 styles, including 6 weights (from extralight to bold) with their respective italic versions, as well as 2 variable fonts.
