Plus Jakarta Sans is a free font family that draws inspiration from geometric sans serif styles, designed by Gumpita Rahayu from Tokotype. It takes inspiration from Neuzit Grotesk, Futura, and 1930s grotesque sans serifs with almost monoline contrast and pointed curves, the fonts feature modern and clean-cut forms, and balanced spacing to ensure legibility at a range of sizes.
In addition, Plus Jakarta Sans fonts comes in 3 variations, and each style contains several alternate characters, divided into three stylistic alternates: Lancip (Sharp), Lurus (Straight), and Lingkar (Swirl).
