Time to present you a fresh new CSS framework: that’s Tent CSS, a survival kit for front-end developers including only the essentials to get started with website design!

I am not a big fan of full featured frameworks like Bootstrap and Foundation because they include much more components than one may need. Most of the times a good grid system, a typography boilerplate and a few other basic element styles are enough to get started… That’s exactly what this framework has been built for!

Additionally, Tent CSS comes with zero JavaScript dependencies and it’s built on Sass, so you can easily edit variables and take advantages of mixins for fast development. Also, it is developed with the BEM methodology: that promotes component modularity, code reusability, and a rock solid code structure.

Last but not least, it uses autoprefixer to make most modern features compatible with many older browser versions. That’s worth a try!
